I would if my art would be worth it. But let's be honest : They're not good enough to be sold. They're full of errors. Maybe I could sell like Nightmare, or even PDP's Nightmare, but I don't know how. D:
I know how you feel~ And I feel that way all the time about my art. But there's no need to feel that way. But your art truly is awesome; You have an amazing painting style, your lineart is clean and smooth, I think you're very deserving of all watchers and feedback you receive~ Sure, there's errors. All art has errors. It's impossible to have perfect art, because there's always room to improve. But I don't notice any errors, and I'm sure no one else does. In my opinion, your art inspirational and fantastic just as it is, and I think it's more than worthy to be sold, and I'm confident that a lot of people would buy your prints~ ^ w ^
Yeah you're right, all art has errors. But I do know that some arts are more imperfect than others, that's why there are levels in art. And people won't see errors if they're not at the artist's level or above it. I improved a lot since I'm here, enough to see my own mistakes or to consider which art of mine would be worthy enough to be sold. From the moment errors are too perceptible, I can't sell them. I just can't... And you know, if I only have feedbacks and stuff is because I make PDP fan art, I don't have any pride to be "popular", I clearly don't deserve such treatments like the ones I receive. I get mad when I see talented artists, real ones, try their hardest to be perceived but fail like fuckers because they don't do fan arts. People seem to appreciate much more fan arts, always the same damn things, viewed and reviewed than original stuff... it's sad, really.
I agree. And I think that your at a high enough level where people can't notice those errors that you find perceptible. I know I sure as hell don't see any errors, but I'm not doubting that you're seeing them. I know exactly how you feel; People say my art is good all the time, and they can't see the numerous, extremely perceptible errors I see. I know it must be hard to consider selling your art when you find the errors so noticeable, and I think you should try, but ultimately it's up to you. ^^ I just hope my advice is even the tiniest bit helpful. And you're right. But I don't think your "popular" just because you do PewDiePie fanart, I mean sure, people like that it's PewDiePie and such, but it's also "popular" because it really is quality art. And that's what you should be proud of. I know it's aggravating to see other talented artists who are unnoticed because they don't draw PewDiePie or VOCALOID or Dr. Who for all I care, but unfortunately, that can't be helped. >< It's not fair. But sadly, all we can do is continue to support those artists. > n <
